Chris Dunn

Chris Dunn was called to the Bar in 1996. Defending in his first rape case in 1998 at Leeds Crown Court which resulted in an acquittal. Since then, Chris has been involved in defending serious and high profile cases across the criminal calendar including, so far a sex offences, indecent images cases to rapes. Chris and Stuart have worked together on numerous serious cases since 1999, with their similar approaches to criminal litigation complementing each other from the perspective of evidence gathering pre-trial, and forensic deployment during the trial. Chris has been instructed to defend in cases for Stuart all over the country, including in Teesside, Bradford, Manchester, Chester, and London. Stuart’s tenacious approach to evidence gathering, their joint experience in tactical considerations, and Chris’s written and oral advocacy, result in a very potent formula in meeting even the most serious allegations”. Chris also acts for registrants in regulatory cases, before various regulators and has worked with Stuart on a regular basis in such cases.
